NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (December 8): Luka Doncic Questionable, Paul George Questionable Wednesday

NBA Injury News

6 p.m. ET Update: Paul George has been added to the injury report with an elbow injury and is questionable to play tonight vs. the Celtics.

Tyrese Maxey has been cleared to play for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Luka Doncic is listed as questionable ahead of the Dallas Mavericks' game against the Memphis Grizzlies. Doncic is dealing with ankle soreness and would be playing the second night of a back-to-back after a game at home on Tuesday.

Tyrese Maxey is questionable to play for the Philadelphia 76ers due to a non-Covid illness. Maxey sat out their game against the Charlotte Hornets on Monday with the same issue.

D'Angelo Russell is questionable to return to the lineup for the Minnesota Timberwolves after missing their last game with an ankle injury. Karl-Anthony Towns has been cleared to play as he deals with a sore tail bone.

The Portland Trail Blazers are severely banged up with Damian Lillard already out with an abdominal injury. Last night, it was reported that CJ McCollum would be out indefinitely with a collapsed lung. Ahead of tonight's game against the Golden State Warriors, Anfernee Simons, Nassir Little, Cody Zeller and Ben McLemore are questionable to play.

The Brooklyn Nets will rest Kevin Durant and LaMarcus Aldridge on the second night of a back-to-back. Jaylen Brown will sit his second straight game in Los Angeles with a sore hamstring.
