NBA Injury News

3 p.m. ET Update: Giannis Antetokounmpo has been ruled out for the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday with a non-COVID illness.

Spencer Dinwiddie has cleared health and safety protocols but remains out for the Washington Wizards due to conditioning.

Damian Lillard, who is out for rest, is expected to miss at least the next three games for the Portland Trail Blazers with a lingering abdominal injury.

D'Angelo Russell and Karl-Anthony Towns are expected to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves as they continue to ramp up their conditioning.

Robert Williams will suit up for the Boston Celtics despite a toe injury. Jabari Parker, Aaron Nesmith and Romeo Langford are also available to play. Payton Pritchard has been ruled out due to health and safety protocols.

Kyrie Irving is expected to make his season debut for the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday on the road against the Indiana Pacers. Irving cleared health and safety protocols and has been ramping up his conditioning for the past two weeks. As of now, it appears he will only play in road games for the Nets. LaMarcus Aldridge is available to play Wednesday after sitting out on Monday due to a sore foot.

Trae Young and Cam Reddish are listed as questionable ahead of the Atlanta Hawks' road matchup with the Sacramento Kings. Young is coming off a career-high 56-point performance but is dealing with a sore lower back. Cam Reddish has a sprained right ankle that forced him to sit in the Hawks' most recent game.

Karl-Anthony Towns and D'Angelo Russell are questionable to return from health and safety protocols for the Minnesota Timberwolves. Russell was out for five games, Towns was sidelined for six games and both players need to pass conditioning tests to get on the floor.

Donovan Mitchell and Jordan Clarkson are probable to suit up for the Utah Jazz ahead of their game against the Denver Nuggets with lower back issues. Rudy Gobert and Royce O'Neale are questionable to play. Gobert is dealing with a left shoulder inflammation and O'Neale is nursing tendonitis in his left patellar.

Jimmy Butler has been ruled out after re-aggravating an ankle sprain Monday night against the Golden State Warriors. Butler has missed time off and on all season with an injury to the same ankle.
