NBA Injury News & Starting Lineups (February 3): Trae Young, Zach LaVine and Jimmy Butler Expect to Play Thursday article feature image

NBA Injury News

6:30 p.m. ET Update: Trae Young and De'Andre Hunter have been cleared to play Thursday vs. the Phoenix Suns. Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton will also suit up.


5:30 p.m. ET Update: Dejounte Murray and Doug McDermott have been ruled out for the San Antonio Spurs Thursday.

Cade Cunningham and Josh Jackson will sit out for the Detroit Pistons.

D'Angelo Russell will miss his fourth game in a row with a shin bruise. Patrick Beverley and Josh Okogie have been cleared to play.


The Chicago Bulls have listed Zach LaVine as questionable ahead of their game against the Toronto Raptors Thursday. LaVine was initially considered probable with a back issue, but has since been downgraded to questionable.

Trae Young is questionable to suit up for tonight's game against the Phoenix Suns with a shoulder injury. Atlanta Hawks head coach Nate McMillan said Young will be a game-time decision. On the other side of that matchup, Jae Crowder and Deandre Ayton are listed as probable after both men returned from their respective absences.

Jimmy Butler and Kyle Lowry are questionable to play against the San Antonio Spurs Thursday. Butler is dealing with a sore toe and Lowry missed nine games for personal, but the latter is expected to suit up. On the other side of that matchup, Dejounte Murray is questionable for the Spurs with a wrist injury.
