Killian Hayes, Under 23.5 Points + Rebounds + Assists

Despite playing some of his best basketball of the season, I’m looking to fade Killian Hayes' points, rebounds and assists (PRA) line.

The Pistons point guard has cleared this line in four of his last six games, albeit primarily against softer competition. Tonight’s matchup, however, should prove much more difficult.

The Raptors are finally showing their defensive chops, rating as the eighth-best defense over the last 15 games. Over that span, they’ve allowed the the seventh-fewest PRA to opposing point guards.

Hayes has struggled against the Raptors this season, shooting 5-for-22 with 13 assists and seven turnovers across three games.

Not much of a jump shooter, Hayes is reliant on the pick and roll to score (4.3 of his 9.9 points per game). Toronto, however, has allowed the second-fewest points to pick-and-roll ball handlers.

In a game where the Raptors are working to solidify playoff/play-in positioning and the Pistons in tank mode, I’m expecting muted production for the French point guard.

I have Hayes projected at 20 PRA, and would play this line down to under 22.5.
