  • Monday's eight-game slate features three NBA player props offering value.
  • This piece will focus on Bulls PF Lauri Markkanen, Kings G Bogdan Bogdanovic, and Grizzlies C Marc Gasol.

Monday’s best NBA player props focus on three of the slate’s eight games:

  • Chicago Bulls at Oklahoma City Thunder: 8 p.m. ET
  • Sacramento Kings at Minnesota Timberwolves: 8 p.m. ET
  • Memphis Grizzlies at Golden State Warriors: 8:30 p.m. ET

As a reminder, you can dig deeper on these and many other prop bets by using our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool. It leverages our projections against five of the most popular online sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of one to 10.

Bulls F Lauri Markkanen

The Pick: Over 7 rebounds (-143)

Markkanen is far from a rebounding machine, but there are reasons to believe he can hit the over against the Thunder.

For starters, he's coming off 36.5 minutes in his most recent game, which is the most he’s played since returning from injury this season. He was able to pull down seven rebounds in that contest, but that was a slow-paced matchup against the Spurs. Monday's game should feature more possessions: The Thunder currently rank sixth in the league in pace.

Markkanen has averaged more than seven rebounds per 36 minutes in each of the past two years, so this line feels a bit low if he's going to see that much playing time.

The big X-factor in this contest is the spread, with the Bulls currently listed as 12.5-point underdogs in Oklahoma City (see live odds here). Markkanen could see reduced minutes if this game turns into a blowout, but the over on his current prop still grades out as a 10 in our props tool. I’d play it up to -165.

Kings SG Bogdan Bogdanovic

The Pick: Over 15.5 points (-125)

Bogdanovic should remain in the starting lineup with Iman Shumpert inactive, which bodes well for Bogdanovic's scoring prospects. He played 37 minutes in Sunday's game against the Mavs, which was his highest mark of the season. He's averaged 19.8 points per 36 minutes this season and could see a few additional shot attempts with Marvin Bagley out of the lineup, too.

This line feels low. I’d be willing to play the over up to -160.

Grizzlies C Marc Gasol

The Pick: Under 8.5 rebounds (-125)

This has actually been a pretty good season for Gasol from a rebounding perspective, but this matchup against the Warriors could be a problem for him for multiple reasons.

The Warriors are essentially back to full strength, which means they’re back to playing at a fast pace. If this game turns into a track meet, it could be tough for Gasol to keep up. The Grizzlies are also 11-point underdogs, so it’s possible he could spend the fourth quarter on the bench instead of the court.

This line feels about right on the surface, but I think the potential for this game to turn into a blowout makes this a +EV spot. That said, I’m not willing to play the under at much higher than -125.
