  • Wednesday's 11-game slate features four NBA player props offering value.
  • This piece will focus on Celtics SG Terry Rozier, Timberwolves PG Derrick Rose, Mavericks PF/C Dwight Powell and Clippers G Lou Williams.

Wednesday’s best NBA player props focus on four of the slate’s 11 games:

  • Detroit Pistons at Boston Celtics: 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Houston Rockets at Minnesota Timberwolves: 8 p.m. ET on ESPN
  • Miami Heat at Dallas Mavericks: 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Phoenix Suns at Los Angeles Clippers: 10:30 p.m. ET

As a reminder, you can dig deeper on these and many other prop bets by using our FantasyLabs NBA Player Props Tool. It leverages our projections against five of the most popular online sportsbooks and grades each prop on a scale of one to 10.

Celtics SG Jaylen Brown

The Pick: Over 1.5 assists (-125)

Brown has had a bit of a down season for the Celtics, who arguably have the NBA's deepest roster. He's averaged only 25.9 minutes per game despite being one of their biggest contributors on last season's Eastern Conference Finals squad.

That said, minutes shouldn’t be an issue for Brown on Wednesday. The Celtics will likely be without their top two PGs, Kyrie Irving and Terry Rozier, and Brown is currently projected for 30.5 minutes in our NBA Models.

Brown is not exactly a playmaker, but asking him to rack up two assists in 30 minutes is very reasonable. I like the over up to -140.

Timberwolves PG Derrick Rose

The Pick: Under 18.5 points (-125)

Rose scored 22 points in his first game back from injury on Monday, but there are still reasons to be pessimistic about him on Wednesday. He played only 24.6 minutes in his last contest but benefited from a friendly matchup against the Clippers. His matchup against the Rockets shouldn’t be nearly as high scoring, as they've played at the fourth-slowest pace this season.

I think this line is high as long as Rose is still limited. It stops looking like a value around -135.

Mavericks PF/C Dwight Powell

The Pick: Over 6.5 rebounds (-125)

Powell is coming off only four rebounds in his last contest, which makes this an excellent time to buy low on him. He had recorded at least eight rebounds in each of his three prior contests, and his 28.3 minutes in his last game was one of his highest marks of the season.

This line is simply too low, and I’d play it up to -145.

Clippers G Lou Williams

The Pick: Over 20.5 points (-140)

I took the over on Williams' scoring prop in his last contest, and I’m going back to the well tonight. Williams figures to be the Clippers’ main source of offense following the trade of Tobias Harris, and Williams posted a whopping 50.1% usage rate in his last game en route to 45 points.

Williams is in an excellent spot for scoring against the Suns, who rank 29th in defensive efficiency, and the Clippers' implied team total of 120.25 is the second-highest mark on the slate.

Williams is an elite scorer, so he should be able to take advantage of the Suns’ porous defense. I like the over up to -160.
