Tonight’s NBA Player Prop Picks: Expert Picks for Josh Giddey, Zion Williamson

We are 7-2 on player props this week. Hopefully, Josh Giddey and Zion Williamson give us a sweep to finish it out. Let's dig into tonight's NBA player prop picks and I have expert picks for Josh Giddey and Zion Williamson.
Tonight's NBA Player Prop Picks
Josh Giddey is averaging 6.1 rebounds per game this season and has pulled down at least six in six of his last seven games. His rebounds line tonight is 6.5 and he has cleared that in four of those games, with nine rebounds or more in three of them. He pulled down 11 rebounds in his last game against the Jazz. However, he also dished out eight assists.
With the emergence of Chet Holmgren and Jalen Williams, Giddey's usage is not as high in Oklahoma City's offense. However, he is still averaging 4.4 assists per game. He has had at least four assists in six of his last eight games. Giddey had a great matchup on Wednesday against Utah and he does again tonight against Toronto.
The Raptors are 26th in rebounds allowed and 28th in assists allowed. They are also allowing the most assists to point guards over the last 15 games. Giddey will run the point for the Thunder when he does not share the floor with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander. However, Gilgeous-Alexander may also help get assists along with Holmgren and Williams.
Combined, Giddey has had 11 rebounds and assists in four of his last seven games and he had 10 in another. He has also hit this line in two of his last three games against the Raptors including last month, when he had 12 rebounds and assists.
He is coming off a game in which he had 19 combined rebounds and assists and if he gets there again tonight, it will likely mean he had a double-double. Giddey is +430 for a double-double tonight.

For a player with the explosive athleticism of Zion Williamson, it has always been a bit perplexing to me why he does not average more rebounds. However, he is starting to pick it up in that regard. He is averaging 8.2 rebounds per game over his last eight and he has had at least seven rebounds in seven of those games. He also had nine rebounds against Miami last month.
Williamson has also taken over an expanded playmaking role this season and he is averaging five assists per game. That number has been on the decline of late, however, he had seven assists in the last meeting against the Heat. Additionally, the Pelicans will be without Brandon Ingram tonight, who leads the team with 5.8 assists per game and is second on the team behind Williamson with 27.1% usage rate.
Without Ingram, Williamson and CJ McCollum will be the primary initiators for the Pelicans. I am backing Williamson considering he already had seven assists against Miami with Ingram on the floor and attacked them on the glass as well. In that game, he finished with 16 rebounds and assists combined. We only need 13 tonight, which he has cleared in four of his past eight games.
Williamson finished a rebound shy of 10 in his last game against Miami, but he did grab 10 twice in his last eight games. I am also expecting him to see an increase in assists tonight. Miami also allowed 12 assists to another non-point guard in Caris Levert on Wednesday. They will give him two ways to get a double-double, which you can take at +250 on DraftKings.
Should Williamson have 10 rebounds and 10 assists tonight, he will likely have a triple-double considering the prolific scorer he is. However, it is best to back him for 10 rebounds (+310) and 10 assists (+600) on FanDuel in a same-game parlay. That comes out to +2377 compared to +1400 under "To Record A Triple-Double."
