With 11 games in the NBA tonight, there are a lot of options to choose from. However, it is important to be selective, particularly with seven playing on the second end of the back-to-back. Tonight, I am targeting Ben Simmons, Jrue Holiday, and Brandon Ingram. Hopefully, we can stay hot after a great opening week.

Ben Simmons Over 8.5 Rebounds (-130)

For many reasons, the last couple of seasons have not been easy for Ben Simmons. While he has not scored at a high level to begin this season, his game has always been about filling up the stat sheet in many areas. Tonight, I was considering a few props for him, but I believe rebounds are the best way to back him tonight.

Nets center Nic Claxton suffered a sprained left ankle in the season. It is not considered a long-term injury, but he has been already ruled out for tonight's game. Though listed as the point guard, Simmons becomes the Nets tallest player by far without Claxton in the starting lineup. He has pulled down 10 rebounds in each of the first two games this season, both without and without Claxton in the lineup.

Tonight, Simmons gets the Charlotte Hornets and there is not a team I love fading more than the Hornets on the glass. Last season, the Hornets allowed the second-most rebounds per game. In Friday's game, Charlotte was -11 on the glass against the Pistons and we backed Jalen Duren over 10.5 rebounds. Not only did Duren pull down 11 rebounds, he climbed his whole ladder and finished with 17 rebounds.

Per NBAStats, Simmons has averaged 14 rebound chances per game and he is converting 71.4% of them. Between Claxton's absence and the matchup against the Hornets, I like his chances of getting nine rebounds tonight.

Jrue Holiday Under 6.5 Assists (-110)

It is early in the season and teams are still figuring out their rotations. The Celtics are no exception to that after adding Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis in the offseason. However, one thing I have already noticed is how little Jrue Holiday has the ball on offense. In the Knicks game, Holiday spent a lot of time standing the corner. His assists line was 7.5 and he finished with two.

Against the Heat, his line dropped to 6.5 like it is tonight. I considered it then, but decided to go with Jaylen Brown's points instead. It proved to be a good decision since we cashed on Brown and Holiday finished with seven. However, I am going with it tonight.

From a matchup perspective, Holiday probably should go over this line. The Wizards are not a great defensive team and have already allowed 143 points to the Pacers. However, we have a couple of outs here. For starters, this game has blowout potential, which is indicated by the 10 point spread. Boston also has a rest advantage, having last played on Friday. Holiday may only have three quarters to get seven assists. He may only have three quarters regardless.

If the game is tight, the ball will be in Jayson Tatum's hands as the primary scoring option and initiator and to a lesser degree, Jaylen Brown. Through the first two games, Tatum has averaged 80 touches per game. Jrue Holiday has averaged 53, just below Derrick White's 53.5 and slightly above Jaylen Brown and Kristaps Porzingis at 48 per game.

That leaves Holiday -at least early on- often standing in the corner in the fourth quarter much like Marcus Smart has for much of the last few seasons. Smart has averaged 5.7, 5.9, and 6.3 assists per game over his final three seasons with the Celtics. Props.cash projects Holiday for 5.4 assists tonight and five to six assists would stay under line.

Brandon Ingram over 24.5 Points (-118)

This summer, Brandon Ingram played for Steve Kerr and Team USA in the FIBA World Cup. Ingram was expected to be one of the stars of the team, but Anthony Edwards assumed the role as the alpha on the team. Ingram averaged just 5.7 points per game in 16.2 minutes per game. He did not even play in the Semi-finals or Third Place Game, both losses to Germany and Canada.

For a player of Ingram's caliber, it was a frustrating experience. He was publicly frustrated with his role, which led to his benching. Ingram ranked 15th in the NBA in usage rate last season and is a primary option for the Pelicans. It just so happens that his Ingram's Pelicans take on Kerr's Warriors tonight.

Last season, Ingram hit this line in three of the four meetings against the Warriors and in both games in New Orleans.  It is worth noting that Zion Williamson did not play in the final two games against Golden State last year. However, Ingram hit this line in both games that Williamson played in, including scoring 34 points in one of them.

Last season, the Warriors were inconsistent defensively and were flat out awful on the road. They also struggled staying out of foul trouble and Ingram averaged eight free throw attempts per game against the Warriors last season. Thus far, the Warriors are 10th in defensive rating this season. However, they have already allowed 32 points to Devin Booker and 39 points to De'Aaron Fox. They are also playing on the second night of a back-to-back with travel from Houston.

If Ingram feels like getting revenge against Kerr, he might want to go for 30 as well. You can take him to score 30 points on FanDuel at +230 and 35 points at +650 on FanDuel.
