On a busy Thursday in the sports betting world, the NBA is — as it often does in March — taking a bit of a back seat. But while most bettors are shifting focus to baseball’s Opening Day and the first set of Sweet 16 games, sharps are still finding some value on the biggest matchup of tonight’s eight-game NBA slate.
Oddsmakers opened the over/under for tonight’s game between the Nuggets and Rockets (8 p.m. ET, NBA TV) at 218, and if their intention was to attract half of the betting population to each side, they seem to have picked the right number.
Fifty percent of bettors have landed on each side of the total, but sharps haven’t been nearly as split.
