Fred VanVleet Over PRAs
|Prop||Over 29.5 PRAs (-110)|
|Matchup||Raptors at Bulls|
|Time||8 p.m. ET|
The Raptors’ first-time All Star is in the middle of his best season since joining the league. VanVleet is averaging 32.3 PRA per game and has a success rate of 65% (37/57) at the posted line of 29.5.
The catch here is the point guard’s knee, which kept VanVleet out of last night’s contest. However, with that communicated more as “injury management,” I’m confident the Wichita State product gets his full workload tonight. In his last four games, VanVleet has played at least 35 minutes in each.
Both Gary Trent and OG Anunoby are out for tonight’s game, which should open up even more usage for the 6-year vet. Without those two on the court, FVV sees a 3% usage bump, and nets 2.0 more PRA per 36 minutes.
The Bulls have struggled against point guards of late, averaging the most PRA to the position over the last 30 games. Even if he sees some minutes against Alex Caruso defensively, this line is too low for VanVleet, who notched 38 PRA (against both Caruso and Lonzo Ball) and 34 PRA in two matchups against Chicago this season.
I have Toronto’s playmaker at 33 PRA tonight.
Pick: Fred VanVleet over 29.5 points, rebounds and assists at DraftKings. Playable to over 30.5 PRAs.
