The highly anticipated 3-Point Challenge between Stephen Curry and Sabrina Ionescu delivered with Curry edging out Ionescu 29-26.

Curry opened as a heavy favorite at -550 odds against Ionescu who opened as a +340 underdog. Those odds shifted significantly from early February and Curry was down to -265 with Ionescu listed at +200 when the All-Star Saturday events tipped off.

Ionescu went first and put up an impressive 26 points in the first round, matching the single best score from the main 3-point contest.

Curry, knowing he needed to put up a lofty number to take home the 3-point challenge belt, started a bit slow on his first two racks. However, the best shooter in NBA history caught fire down the stretch.

For Ionescu, the falling just short didn't take away from the most important takeaway of the night.

"I think a night like tonight shows a lot of young girls and young boys that, if you can shoot, you can shoot, Ionescu said"
