It's Tuesday, and that means we're in for more college baseball midweek madness.

However, I've found two ranked teams set to keep rolling. These teams are being undervalued in what would typically be letdown spots.

So, without further ado, let's dive into my two college baseball picks and NCAA baseball predictions for Tuesday, February 24.

It's safe to say that the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have gotten off to a hot start. They come into this matchup undefeated, having outscored their opponents, 126-30, through eight games.

Seven of their eight games have been played at home, and they've had only one game in which they scored fewer than 10 runs.

The deepest lineup in the country has lived up to the hype early on, and their offensive onslaught should continue when they host Georgia State this afternoon.

Speaking of Georgia State, the Panthers have shown they can swing it, too. They've posted four wins in which they scored double-digit runs.

But the issue in this matchup comes on the mound. The Panthers are projected to send senior Cole Roberts to the bump.

Roberts got off to a great start, dealing five shutout innings against Jacksonville State, but it's clear the Yellow Jackets are a massive step up in competition for a pitcher who doesn't miss many bats.

Back the Yellow Jackets to stay hot and steamroll another in-state foe.

Pick: Georgia Tech -2.5 (Play to -4.5)

Austin Peay vs Mississippi State Pick

We move to another team that has also opened the season scorching hot. The Mississippi State Bulldogs are a perfect 8-0 on the season and have played their way into the top five of D1Baseball's Top 25.

While the offense — averaging 9.6 runs per game, led by Golden Spikes candidate Ace Reese — gets the shine, the Bulldogs' pitching staff has been their biggest improvement from last year.

Thus far, Mississippi State has dominated on the mound, holding its opposition to a .204 BAA with a team ERA of 2.61, and it ranks seventh in strikeout-to-walk ratio nationally.

Tonight, the Bulldogs will give the ball to redshirt freshman William Kirk, who has looked decent out of the bullpen, averaging a strikeout per inning.

He'll be opposed by Austin Peay redshirt senior Chance Cox, who got knocked around in his first start of the season, allowing five earned runs while walking and hitting two batters in just 3 1/3 innings of work.

Cox is clearly more of a question mark than Kirk, and he doesn't have much support behind him with the Governors' team ERA sitting at 5.77.

In front of one of the best home-field advantages in the country, back the Bulldogs to cruise tonight and cover the run line.

Pick: Mississippi State -2.5 (Play to -3.5)
