Mississippi State Bulldogs 2021-22 Season
The Mississippi State Bulldogs came into the 2021-22 season with average expectations. They were not ranked in the preseason AP poll, and were widely predicted to finish in the middle of a loaded SEC. They finished below expectations, finishing 10th in the SEC. They are not predicted to make the NCAA Tournament unless they win the SEC Tournament.
Their season may not have been what the Bulldogs hopeful expected, but they do have some big wins to hang their hat on. These include wins against Arkansas and Alabama. The Bulldogs will play South Carolina in the first round of the SEC Tournament, and will look to make a deep run in order to keep their hopes of an NCAA Tournament appearance alive.
