Florida head coach Todd Golden and his brilliant staff are well aware of this tendency and will look to overplay the 3-ball knowing full well they have the size, physicality and athleticism advantage waiting inside the arc.

This is a “name your number game” between two bitter in-state rivals (note: not that bitter). Florida is coming off a hard-fought loss to Arizona on national television, while North Florida begins the Bobby Kennen era, as the long-time Matthew Driscoll assistant slides one spot over on the bench and takes over the clipboard.
The Gators should have no issue scoring against a North Florida team that's ranked near the bottom of the national defensive rankings in five of the past six seasons.
Despite having a new coach, Kennen doesn’t figure to alter the Ospreys' style much, meaning the paint and the rim are open for business. North Florida ranked 356th in field goal attempt rate allowed in the paint last season and 336th in field goal attempt rate allowed at the rim, per CBB Analytics.
Florida has arguably the best and deepest frontcourt in the country and should dominate a super-thin Ospreys frontline inside and on the glass.
