The college football slate gets kicked off on Wednesday with a Sun Belt matchup between the Georgia State Panthers and the Appalachian State Mountaineers.
Neither team has performed to the level that it would have hoped for at the beginning of the season. App State is 3-3, and the Mountaineers have lost a couple of games by a score or less. Of course, they also beat Troy on a last-second Hail Mary.
For the Panthers, they dropped their first four games of the season but are now hunting for bowl eligibility, knocking off Army and Georgia Southern in recent weeks.
