BetMGM is a big name in online gaming and sports betting. You might say the company is a "survivor."
It’s the reality show of the same name that inspired BetMGM to partner with Jogo Global and Banijay Rights to bring an exciting twist for fans of the legendary reality show, Survivor.
This collaboration gives BetMGM exclusive rights to create and market Survivor-themed online casino games. The timing couldn't be better as the debut of these games coincides with Survivor's 50th season on CBS, which premiered on February 25.
The announcement comes just weeks after the company unveiled its new Richard Childress racing game.
What is Survivor?
Survivor is a popular reality television show that first premiered in the United States on CBS in 2000. Contestants are stranded in a remote location and divided into tribes. They must compete in various challenges to earn rewards and immunity from elimination.
The central concept of the show revolves around contestants needing to "outwit, outplay, and outlast" each other. At certain intervals, the contestants participate in "Tribal Councils," where they vote to eliminate one of their own, and this continues until a final survivor is crowned the winner and awarded a large cash prize, traditionally one million dollars.
