Betting on quarterback ineptitude is one of my NFL guilty pleasures. I especially like back-breaking interceptions that completely flip the momentum of the game.
That’s why I’m diving headfirst into the quarterback interception market for NFL Week 2 to identify key spots each week to cash in on quarterback miscues.
Each week of the season, I’ll give my two favorites to throw a pick.
In 2025, my record was 20-16 for +7.5U. In 2024, I was able to finish at 19-17 for +4.2U. Part of the strategy is finding mispriced INT prices, especially at plus-odds.
Here are my two favorite NFL interception props for Week 2.
NFL Interception Props for Week 2
- Tyler Shough to Throw an Interception (+116; FanDuel)
- Drew Lock to Throw an Interception (-130; FanDuel)

Tyler Shough to Throw an Interception (+116)

It was a tale of two halves for the Saints offense in Week 1 and QB Tyler Shough.
If you only watched the first half, youd think he was the worst QB in the NFL, and if you watched only the second half, he was lights out.
I’m of the opinion that what we saw in the first half more resembles what we’ll see from the Saints in Week 2 with offensive struggles and costly turnovers. That’s why I’m taking Shough to throw another interception vs Baltimore.
Shough had two interceptions in Week 1, and that was against a depleted Lions secondary. This time, the Saints face the Ravens defense, which is abundantly better at defending the pass and even got Colts QB Daniel Jones to turn it over.
The Ravens were above league average in both pressure rate and blitz rate in the opener, which bodes well for an INT bet because both of Shough’s turnover-worthy plays came when he saw pressure.
This is a carryover from last year when Shough’s TWP rate saw an increase and completion percentage dropped off a cliff when seeing pressure.
He might still make some plays with his legs, but if the Saints start trailing, look for Shough to see a ton of pressure and make a mistake.
He was hovering around -120 to throw an INT in Week 1 so at +116, love the value we're getting in this spot.
Drew Lock to Throw an Interception (-130)

Let’s not pretend that Seahawks QB Drew Lock is a good quarterback. He’s been a serviceable backup who can sometimes lead a team to a win if the circumstances are right.
That’s what we got in Week 1 — if Jaxon Smith-Njigba didn’t score that long touchdown and Patriots QB Drake Maye didn’t throw three picks, we’d have a much different vibe for the Seahawks entering Week 2.
Heading to Arizona to face the Cardinals, this is a spot where we should start to see the Lock we know — and that means we’ll likely see an interception.
In his career, Lock has thrown 28 interceptions with an INT in 17-of-27 games started (62%). It boggles my mind that he has plus odds to throw an interception in a divisional road game against a quality opponent.
The Cardinals defense looked great in Week 1 and forced QB Justin Herbert to throw a pick with him closing at +140 to turn it over.
Like most quarterbacks, Lock’s turnover-worthy play rate tends to jump when seeing pressure and to the Cardinals' credit, they were able to manage a 22% pressure rate per dropback vs the Chargers, which is just above league average.
If we see that type of spirit on defense again, I fully expect Lock to make a mistake and throw it back to the other team. I have this closer to -120.
