Our NFL Luck Rankings have proven to be a highly successful tool for betting NFL sides and totals.

This year, we introduced Version 3.1 of our Luck Rankings as a way to continue to improve the methodology, as well as to simplify the thresholds and give you even better luck metrics.

Continuing from Version 3.0 is something called the "Luck Score." This single number will tell us whether a game has a significant luck factor.

In Version 3.1, if the Luck Score is 1.9 or higher, we'll consider that a luck-based side. A 1.5-1.9 is considered a lean and won't count toward official Luck Rankings statistics.

For totals, a Luck Total above +1.5 (over) or below -1.5 (under) is considered official for Luck Rankings record keeping, but as in years past this doesn't start until Week 3.

Based on our Week 2 NFL Luck Rankings, there are two sides that are leans, and three totals that would have been official had it been Week 3 or later.

Let's dive in.
