Monday Night Football in Week 6 features a primetime doubleheader as the Bills face the Falcons and the Bears take on the Commanders.
For my top NFL PrizePicks and Underdog selections, I’m spotlighting Josh Palmer, Drake London, Rome Odunze, and Luke McCaffrey to headline the slate.
With Curtis Samuel questionable with neck and rib injuries, the Bills' wide receiving corps after Khalil Shakir has been an enigma. We've seen Keon Coleman and Dalton Kincaid put up big performances, but another overlooked contributor has been Josh Palmer.
Palmer has been highly efficient this season, hauling in 67% of his targets while averaging 14.2 yards per reception. He is fourth on the team in targets and has averaged nearly four per game.
He is heavily favored to haul in at least two passes tonight, and that volume should put him over this mark.
Drake London has been the man in the Falcons' passing attack. He has garnered nearly 29% of the team's target share and has a great matchup tonight against Tre'Davious White.
We have yet to see London's target volume carry over into the red zone, as he's had just three red zone targets this season. However, a trailing game script should change that tonight. With Darnell Mooney out, look for London to be the go-to guy at all times for Penix.
Odunze has become the top target for Caleb Williams this season, and his ascension has been fun to watch. However, the weather in tonight's matchup negates his role in the offense.
Odunze has become the field stretcher for this offense, creating big plays on a fair amount of volume. He's averaged 8.8 targets and 15.6 yards per reception. However, gusting winds are going to make downfield passes difficult in this matchup.
Look for Odunze to be more of a decoy as Williams finds a bevy of underneath routes tonight.
Lastly, we are targeting another wide receiver who's done big things with little opportunity. Luke McCaffrey has racked up at least 50 receiving yards twice in five games, but has done so on just nine targets all year long.
I mentioned above how the winds are going to make it tough for downfield passes to be completed, which caps McCaffrey's upside in this matchup. He isn't favored to have more than two catches in this matchup, and his role may diminish if Deebo Samuel plays.
Fade McCaffrey tonight as he looks to be a non-factor in the Commanders' offense.
