The start of the Steve Bruce era at Aston Villa didn't get off to a great start, but it looks like the Villans may have sorted things with two consecutive wins. Villa defeated Norwich City, 4-2, last weekend for their first league win and then dispatched Wigan, 4-1, in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday.

Bristol City (+133) have also found the goal plenty of times recently. The Robins have scored 11 goals in their last three matches, and Bobby Reid, Famara Diedhiou and Jamie Peterson all have started the year brightly.

For Aston Villa (+187) to come through, they will need another superb effort from Conor Hourihane. The Irishman should receive some help in the middle in the form of Mile Jedinak. Prior to their win over Norwich, the Villans hadn't won a league game without Jedinak starting since he came to Villa Park.

The partnership between Jedinak and Hourihane could prove the difference, and there is small value on the away side to take all three points if the Australian midfielder features in the starting XI.
