Wings vs. Aces Preview

Uh-oh. Do we have a double revenge spot here? Why yes, yes we do.

The Dallas Wings have been kicking the Las Vegas Aces' bottom this season. On June 15, the Aces crumbled to a 30-point defeat at the hands of the upstart Wings, who are already among the best teams in the WNBA, it appears, 96-66, which proved to be a consequential Commissioner's Cup affair.

Dallas also put the beats on Vegas on May 28, winning 95-87.

The thing here is, both games were in Dallas.

Wings vs. Aces Prediction

Yes, this is noobish, but do I really want to fade the Aces at home against Dallas after losing two straight to this fun, young team, who is two days removed from an overtime win in Seattle against the now 3-15 Storm?

Vegas is 0-2 against Dallas and 12-3 against everyone else. They're also coming off a loss against the New York Liberty on Tuesday, and so far this season, they're 3-1 after losses — one of those to Dallas. But this is the first time they're coming off a loss and playing at home, and at the crib, the Aces won four straight before falling to the surging Liberty on Tuesday, who simply weren't going to lose three straight.

This, to me, is a Vegas spot. And prop-wise, I'm open to the idea of this being an A'ja Wilson "get on my back" spot.

Best Bet: Aces -5.5 (-105, BetMGM)
