Here's everything you need to know about the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship at Port Royal Golf Course — our expert PGA Tour predictions and betting picks.

We only have two PGA Tour events left in 2023: the Butterfield Bermuda Championship this week and the RSM Classic next week.

I am going to miss the events during the brief offseason, although I do think there are simple steps for the PGA Tour to make the swing season more appealing. For starters, give us ShotTracker for all of the events.

There has to be a way to get the technology to these events that aren't in the United States. Unfortunately, we are going to be stuck with the faux ShotTracker this week — Shot 1 off the tee, Shot 2 from the fairway, Shot 3 from the green, etc. It's better than nothing, but not by much. I'll end my rant there, but throw us a bone here, PGA Tour.

This week we head to Butterfield Bermuda Championship and Port Royal Golf Course. This is a par-71 that measures 6,828 yards, which is extremely short by PGA Tour standards. The four winners at this venue have been Brendon Todd, Brian Gay, Lucas Herbert and Seamus Power, so clearly power off the tee is not a prerequisite for success.

The course is short and has a number of hazards that come into play off the tee, which places an emphasis on accuracy. The par-4s, which are all under 460 yards, lead to a lot of wedges, so proximity from 75-150 yards should be important.

Finally, the greens here are large and easy to hit in regulation, which places a huge emphasis on putting.

Let's take a look at my favorite bets of the week for the 2023 Butterfield Bermuda Championship.

Butterfield Bermuda Championship Picks

Brendon Todd +2000 (FanDuel)

Brendon Todd checks all of the boxes for me this week. He comes into the event in great form after posting top-seven finishes in three of his last six starts. He's been in contention often, so he shouldn't let his nerves get the best of him if he's there on Sunday this week.

From a course-fit perspective, he might be my favorite in the field. He's one of the most accurate drivers of the ball and one of the best putters on Tour. He has also made big strides with his approach game over the last six months.

The Georgia Bulldog also clearly likes the course after winning here in 2019. Let's run it back in 2023, Brendon!

Ben Griffin +2500 (FanDuel)

Ben Griffin had to have been heartbroken after blowing a lead and losing in a playoff at the Sanderson Farms Championship last month. He struggled in his next two events but bounced back with a T23 finish last week in Mexico.

Statistically, he's top 10 in this field in Strokes Gained: Approach and Strokes Gained: Putting. You don't have to be a big driver of the ball here, which should play right into his strengths.

He took a liking to the course in his first appearance by finishing T3 here a year ago. I like the number in this field.

Wesley Bryan Top 20 +700 (BetMGM – Ties Paid in Full)

Every once in a while, we have to ignore the stats and play into narratives. Wesley Bryan's brother George is in the field this week, which will be his first career PGA Tour event. I love watching their channel on YouTube and know how competitive they are.

Wesley will do everything in his power to not only beat his brother, but to have a great week overall. Additionally, watching their channel gave me some inside info because they have been in Bermuda filming content at this course for over a week.

Consequently, they will be familiar with the layout and the way the course is playing.

At +700 for a top 20, I couldn't resist.

Best of luck this week. Only one more betting breakdown this year!
