- Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy will reportedly take part in a high-profile skins game in Japan this fall.
Chances are, your Sunday morning skins pool pales in comparison to the big money that will be available when four of the game’s biggest names square off in October.
As first reported by ESPN.com, Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jason Day and Hideki Matsuyama will compete in an upcoming one-day skins match.
Prize money has yet to be determined, but the event will reportedly held on Oct. 21 at Accordia Golf Narashino Country Club in Japan.
Woods is scheduled to compete in the inaugural Zozo Championship in Tokyo later that week.
This marks the second straight year that Woods will play in at least one non-sanctioned, made-for-TV competition. He lost “The Match” to Phil Mickelson in Las Vegas last November.
