Hornets Team Total Under at Pistons

7 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Matt Moore

This has hit in 80% of their games since they traded away a bunch of players, so that is as simple as a cap can get.

Nikola Vucevic Over 32.5 Points+Rebounds vs. Mavericks

8 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Joe Dellera

He has been pretty solid in hitting this number. He has cleared 32.5 in seven of his last 10 and 10 of his last 15.

I think this is a good spot for him against the Mavericks. They have Daniel Gafford and Dereck Lively II at center and I am not worried about what they can do defensively. I think he can score the basketball stretching the floor and should be able to gather a bunch of rebounds.

I think in this matchup, we won't see the Bulls running the two big man lineup as much because Luka Doncic will destroy Andre Drummond in drop coverage. This means more minutes and opportunity for Vucevic to get his tonight.

Raptors +14.5 at Nuggets

9 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Matt Moore

I have this modeled at 11.

I have been telling Nuggets fans this for the past few weeks, they will beat Phoenix and beat Boston and downshift to ride into the playoffs.

I have a number edge on this in the model and I love the spot for the Raptors. I know they aren't good and are much worse than they have been in the past few years, but this screams a Denver let-down spot. They haven't been as good at home this year, and I don't mind taking a same-game parlay of Nuggets first quarter and Raptors game spread.

Nuggets 1Q Spread vs. Raptors

9 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA League Pass

By Jim Turvey

The first quarter caps for this one and Celtics vs. Trail Blazers (below) are essentially the same.

Both the Nuggets and Celtics are going against really bad teams and both have been incredible in the first quarter this year. We talk about it a lot that these corner markets are very difficult. Denver is 23-9 against the first quarter spread at home this year whereas the Raptors are 11-20-1 on the road.

When the good teams play bad teams, you can generally get to a 50-50 cover rate, but the first quarter often plays to the better team.

Celtics 1Q Spread at Trail Blazers

10:30 p.m. ET ⋅ NBA TV

By Jim Turvey

In addition to the analysis above, Boston is 22-9 against the spread on the road in the first quarter and it is the inverse for the Blazers, who are 13-19 at home against the spread.
