The Phoenix Suns and Milwaukee Bucks are each sizable favorites to advance to the NBA Finals, which has allowed sportsbooks to start looking ahead.
The Westgate SuperBook in Las Vegas posted betting odds for a potential Finals matchup between the Bucks and Suns. Milwaukee opened as a -150 favorite to win the potential series, with Phoenix coming back as a +130 underdog.
The Suns can clinch a berth in the Finals with a win over the Clippers on Monday, as they hold a 3-1 series lead. PointsBet has Phoenix priced at -2995 to advance. The Suns are a 6-point favorite and -240 on the moneyline to defend home court and win Game 5 (real-time odds here).
Meanwhile, the Bucks took a 2-1 series lead over the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday. Milwaukee is -2000 to win the series and a 7-point favorite in Game 4 on Tuesday.
The Suns and Bucks met twice during the regular season, with Phoenix winning the first game in February 125-124 and the second game 128-127 in overtime.
Overall, the Bucks are the -110 betting favorite to win the NBA title as of Monday afternoon at PointsBet. The Suns are right behind at +110. The Clippers (+1800) and Hawks (+2000) are both longshots.
Other ways to get in early on NBA Finals betting is with Finals MVP odds. Giannis Antetokounmpo is the +110 favorite ahead of Devin Booker (+200). Chris Paul’s rise continues at +350. Khris Middleton is +1200 before we get to a player not on the Suns or Bucks. Paul George is +1800, but with the Clippers available at the same price, that seems to be the safer longshot play.
