The Chicago Bulls head to Boston to face the Celtics on Monday night. Nikola Vucevic (33% opening tip win rate) will likely face off against Al Horford (48% win rate) on the opening tip-off.

Horford has won two of three opening tip-offs against Vucevic this season and is likely to control the tip-off in this game tonight. There is a slight chance that Robert Williams III could move into the starting lineup tonight due to an injury to Marcus Smart. Williams had a 59% win rate last year on tip-offs.

In the three matchups between the Bulls and Celtics this season, Jayson Tatum has cashed the first basket in each game. Zach LaVine and Patrick Williams (twice) have scored the first team field goal for the Bulls in each of those games. The Celtics have scored first in 50% of games this season.  The Bulls have scored first in 43% of games this season.

Seeing that Tatum has scored first in nine games this season — three of which came against the Bulls — I have to go with the data and take Tatum tonight.

Pick: Tatum +340 (Play down to +300, 1 unit)
