The Clippers got back on track in Los Angeles, taking Game 3 behind a spirited, defense-first, team effort. Los Angeles held the Suns to 92 points and 38.9% shooting from the field.
Offensively, the Clippers got an inefficient, but needed, 27 points from Paul George. He was huge all night, as he also chipped in 15 rebounds and 8 assists in an impressive all-around effort.

They are many ways you could analyze this loss from Phoenix's perspective. But the simple truth is that the Suns aren't going to win any game where their stellar backcourt of Devin Booker and Chris Paul go 10-of-40 from the field.
Booker's scoring is obviously more important to Phoenix, as Booker's team-leading 27.2 points per game (PPG) have powered Monty Williams' Suns throughout the postseason.
But when Booker is being hounded by physical defenders, Paul has been there to pick up the scoring slack. In Game 3, Terance Mann, Patrick Beverley and even Reggie Jackson did a great job of bothering Paul—who returned after an extended absence due to the NBA's health and safety protocols—and not give him enough space to get off his signature mid-range jumper.
