Kings vs. 76ers
We've hit this multiple times this month.
Quentin Grimes is getting pressed for playing time with Philly being mostly healthy.
The new factor is Jared McCain emerging from the depths of the G League. The sophomore guard has played 20+ minutes in back-to-back games.
The context there is that the first game was a 37-point loss and the second game was with Grimes sidelined.
McCain could fade into the background again tonight, but there's at least a chance that he's earned more playing time, which could come at Grimes' expense.
Speaking of the 37-point loss to Charlotte, Grimes' stat line looks good in that game. He finished with 14 points, five assists, and three rebounds in 26 minutes.
The key is that the starters didn't play in the 4th quarter, leaving Grimes (and McCain) to scoop up extra minutes. Grimes put up eight points, two assists, and one rebound in 10 minutes of garbage time.
Pick: Quentin Grimes Under 14.5 Points, Rebounds, & Assists (-110)
Rockets vs. Hawks
By Kyle Murray
It feels like some sportsbooks have made an early blunder with these Houston props, as Dorian Finney-Smith and Tari Eason are not expected to play (yet, books such as FanDuel is currently offering props for Eason).
Eason being out helps Sheppard with minutes as well as usage, and Sheppard has not been shy to shoot as of late. He has averaged 13.8 field-goal attempts and has a 29.5% usage rate over his last five games.
This is also a good matchup, as the Hawks have played at the 3rd-fastest pace in the NBA and have allowed the 5th-highest 3-point percentage above the break.
That sets up well for Sheppard, who has taken the 2nd-most 3-pointers on Houston this season from that area, with 5.2 attempts per game (just behind Durant at 5.3).
Pick: Reed Sheppard Over 11.5 Points (-114)

Pistons vs. Suns
By Joe Dellera
The Pistons face off against the Suns tonight, and I’m looking at the matchup in the interior.
Jalen Duren has historically feasted vs. Mark Williams: averaging 12.2 points and 14.2 rebounds per game in their five head-to-head matchups — with four double doubles in those five games, which includes a 16-point, 18-rebound effort two weeks ago.
Phoenix has been vulnerable inside to opposing bigs, and even with Duren coming off a couple quieter rebounding outings, this matchup sets up perfectly for him to clean the glass and get putback chances.
Pick: Jalen Duren to Record a Double-Double (-115)
Thunder vs. Timberwolves
By Joe Dellera
The Timberwolves play the Thunder tonight, so that means we are betting Anthony Edwards rebound props.
Edwards has absolutely crushed on this prop against OKC, with Ant recording 6+ rebounds in 10 of his last 11 games against the Thunder, including totals of eight and 12 this season. He consistently crashes the glass and gets those opportunities to board.
I think Edwards gets up for these matchups, but it’s not just a motivational spot — it’s strategic too. When Ant gets boards, he can help kickstart the offense and move a little faster against potential mismatches in transition.
Pick: Anthony Edwards Over 5.5 Rebounds (+113)
