Durant and the Suns could be a match made in heaven after a tumultuous tenure in Brooklyn. After all, Action Network’s Matt Moore noted that Phoenix is among the star forward's preferred trade destinations.

“Word circulated in league circles prior to (Kyrie) Irving’s decision to opt-in that, if the Nets pursued a trade for the future Hall-of-Famer Durant, Phoenix would be among the very top of the preferred destinations," said Moore.

"Durant has a good relationship with Chris Paul and a stronger one with Suns head coach Monty Williams," Moore added. "The Suns provide Durant the type of win-now championship opportunity Durant is interested in."

The Suns are far and away the biggest climbers in the title odds market, moving from +1000 on Thursday morning to favorites, with a peak of +250.

Although nothing is set in stone yet, the Suns are also favored to win the Western Conference (+290). The Clippers and Warriors both follow at +300.
