Spurs vs Warriors NBA Preview

The Spurs are one of the NBA's hottest teams and on track to secure their 10th consecutive win on Wednesday. Everything is coming together ahead of their first playoff appearance since the 2018-19 season.

Victor Wembanyama posted his most impressive scoring and rebounding month since October in March, but he hasn't been his team's only nightly double-double threat lately.

Stephon Castle tallied six double-doubles last month by averaging more than 8.0 assists per game for the first time since November. The duo has been key contributors to San Antonio's flourishing offense.

Only the Nuggets scored more points per game (123.1) than the Spurs last month. The Warriors, on the other hand, have been far less impressive.

Kristaps Porzingis has operated as Golden State's top scoring threat without Stephen Curry, but the Dubs posted just 112.1 points per game last month. It's a steady diet of Porzingis, Brandin Podziemski, and Gui Santos for Golden State right now — a combo that lacks much-needed star power.

The Warriors seem likely to struggle without a true go-to guy. San Antonio's wealth of gifted and versatile defenders will make quality looks hard to come by.

Quinten Post (foot), Al Horford (calf), Moses Moody (knee), and Curry (knee) are out for the Warriors tonight.

Spurs vs Warriors Predictions, Betting Analysis

Wemby is on a roll as a rebounder and has now notched at least 15 boards in four straight contests. He has a chance to build on his success against the Dubs this season on Wednesday.

The Spurs big man is averaging 12.0 rebounds per game against Golden State, and it's unlikely that he'll be muscled off the glass by a perimeter-oriented center like Porzingis.

He's racked up at least 11 rebounds eight times in his previous 10 outings, despite having faced three top-five rebounding teams during that span.

Pick: Victor Wembanyama 13+ Rebounds (+115)
