The ACC has five teams ranked in the AP poll, which is much better than last season, when Louisville and Clemson ended the season at No. 21 and No. 22, despite both finishing 18-2 in conference play. But the ACC Regular Season Champion will again be decided by whether anyone in the conference can reach the same level as Duke.
North Carolina won the ACC Regular Season title two seasons ago and defeated Duke in their first matchup of the season, but after the Blue Devils' dominant season last year and great start to this season, Duke remains far ahead of the pack with its odds to win the conference title.

ACC Regular Season Champion Odds
Duke is the overwhelming favorite, but there are plenty of teams that could challenge the Blue Devils this season. Clemson is once again a big factor in the race, sitting near the top of the standings with a few big matchups coming up against Duke, Louisville, and North Carolina.
Virginia's losses have been incredibly close, and with a game against Duke serving as the only matchup between the Cavaliers and another ranked ACC team, Virginia will definitely be a factor in the title race.
Beyond those top three, every team is essentially too far behind in the standings to make an impact. Louisville getting swept by Duke has taken it out of the race, while North Carolina's wins against Duke and Virginia aren't enough to overshadow their frequent losses against middle-of-the-pack teams. NC State and Miami are close in the standings, but aren't likely to win head-to-head matchups against the other top teams in the league.
While Duke remains the heavy favorite to win the conference, the ACC race is a lot deeper than it has been in recent seasons. The Blue Devils will rematch with the Tar Heels in the final game of the conference season on March 7, a battle that could go a long way towards determining the winner of the ACC Regular Season Championship.
