With five teams ranked inside the top 13 of the AP poll, there are plenty of worthy contenders in the mix for the Big Ten Regular Season Champion.

Despite suffering their first loss of the conference season, the Michigan Wolverines are still heavy favorites to take home the conference title, although the preseason favorite, Purdue, is lurking just behind the Wolverines.

For anyone interested in placing a bet on the Big Ten Regular Season Champion, Kalshi allows bettors to place real money on the outcome in all 50 states.

Big Ten Regular Season Champion Odds

Michigan and Purdue might be the highest-ranked contenders and the most likely to win the Big Ten, but multiple teams have started the season strong and have strong odds.

Nebraska is one of the final five unbeaten teams in the country, and with wins over Michigan State and Illinois already in hand, the Cornhuskers look like they belong in the same tier as Purdue and Michigan (at least until they lose a game).

Meanwhile, Michigan State and Illinois both have just one loss in conference to Nebraska (Michigan State lost by two points on the road and Illinois lost by three at home on a buzzer-beater). With how close both those teams were to winning their matchups with Nebraska, there's no reason to believe they won't also factor into the Big Ten title race.

Outside of the Big Ten's big five, no team has separated from the rest of the pack, although Wisconsin is sitting at 3-2 in conference with the most impressive win so far. The Badgers feel like the only team that could build enough momentum to challenge any of the well-established top five for a shot at the title.

The final day of the Big Ten Regular Season is March 8, with Michigan visiting Michigan State to end the season.

What is Kalshi?

Different than a traditional sportsbook and available in all 50 states, Kalshi allows users to make predictions across several unique markets, including sports, entertainment, elections and even weather.

Kalshi operates on a contract-based system where users buy "contracts" (priced between 1–99 cents) based on whether they believe a specific event will happen. The price of each contract fluctuates in real time based on market sentiment and like the stock market, traders can sell positions early to lock in profits (or minimize losses).
