George Washington vs Dayton College Basketball Betting Preview

I project 156.5 points for this matchup, so I'll bet the over at 153.5 — any three-point or bigger difference between the projection and the market is worth a play from me.

College Basketball Projections, Picks: Tanner McGrath's Power Ratings & Score Model Image

The most important thing to watch in this game is the injury status of Dayton big man Amael L’Etang, who I expect to be out.

I don’t think the Flyers can afford to be without their top rim protector in this matchup. George Washington attacks the rim as much as any team in college basketball, with mid-major POY candidate Rafael Castro demolishing opponents down low.

I don’t love the matchup for Dayton’s offense. However, the Revs are turnover-prone, which could be a problem against Anthony Grant’s patented ball-pressure defense, and I’m banking on that leading to plenty of transition run-outs for the Flyers.

My Pick: Over 153.5 or Better
