No. 21 USC puts its undefeated record on the line at No. 23 Illinois on Saturday in Champaign.

The Trojans have dispatched two power-conference teams this season in Purdue and Michigan State, beating both by double digits. Meanwhile, the Illini's lone loss came in an embarrassing 63-10 defeat to No. 19 Indiana last week.

Below, I have an Illinois vs USC parlay for college football Week 5.

Illinois +6.5

Illinois will look to bounce back after a disastrous Week 3 showing against Indiana, as Brett Bielema’s team was thoroughly outplayed in a 63-10 loss under the lights in Bloomington.

Despite that setback, this feels like an ideal bounce-back spot for the Illini on their home field.

USC finds itself in a difficult position, traveling across the country for a 9 a.m. ET kickoff — a situational spot that historically hasn’t treated the Trojans well.

Since 2013, the Trojans are just 1-13 ATS and 1-12 outright in games played in Central or Eastern Time Zones.

Facing a hungry and experienced Illinois team, this is a daunting challenge for USC.

Luke Altmyer 200+ Passing Yards

I expect Illinois to find success against this USC secondary, which has looked vulnerable in recent weeks.

In their last game, the Trojans gave up 225 passing yards to a below-average Michigan State offense, and the week before, they surrendered 305 yards through the air against Purdue.

With this matchup likely to develop into a close, back-and-forth battle, the game script should work in Luke Altmyer’s favor, forcing him to throw often, which gives this prop plenty of upside.
