According to a Tweet from the USA Today's A.J. Perez, Delaware will become the first state to take legal sports wagers following the Supreme Court's decision to strike down PASPA.

Delaware Park, Dover Downs Hotel and Casino and Harrington Raceway and Casino will open for business on June 5 at 1:30 p.m. ET.

Bettors will immediately have the option to wager on major professional sports such as baseball, football, hockey, basketball and soccer. Golf and auto racing will also be available for wagering.

State regulators have already determined there are no legal issues, paving the way for Delaware casinos to begin accepting legal sports wagers.
