Take me out to the ballgame.
Kalshi has announced exclusive, multi-year brand partnerships with five Major League Baseball teams: the Los Angeles Dodgers, Atlanta Braves, Boston Red Sox, San Diego Padres, and San Francisco Giants.
The announcement marks Kalshi’s first sponsorship agreements with MLB franchises. The prediction market platform will become the official prediction market partner for each club, extending its sports marketing presence into some of baseball’s most recognizable markets.
Kalshi said the partnerships will bring its branding into ballparks, team media channels, and fan-facing promotions. For baseball fans, the deals could make the Kalshi app a more visible part of the game-day experience.
The prediction markets platform also made news recently when it annouced that it would be entering the art industry as well. In addition to baseball, Kalshi saw a boost in its soccer trading, thanks to the World Cup.
Kalshi Brings Prediction Markets to MLB Fans
The five partnerships cover teams from major baseball markets on both coasts and in the Southeast. Together, the Dodgers, Braves, Red Sox, Padres, and Giants represent roughly one-sixth of MLB’s 30 clubs.
Kalshi’s agreements include in-stadium signage, digital and social promotions, radio integrations, and fan activations. Some teams will also provide team-specific promotions inside the Kalshi app.
Adam Barrick, Kalshi’s Head of Sports Partnerships, said the company sees the deals as a natural extension of existing fan interest.
“The idea is that fans are already engaging with their favorite teams on Kalshi, so it only makes sense to extend that fandom to some of the most beloved baseball teams in America,” Barrick said.
Kalshi is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission, or CFTC. Its sports event contracts are structured as financial products, a distinction that has become central to ongoing debates with state regulators.

Dodgers Deal Includes Gold Glove Bar Rights
The Los Angeles Dodgers partnership appears to be the most visible of the five agreements. Kalshi will receive prominent branding across Dodger Stadium and new opportunities to reach fans attending games.
The Dodgers deal includes:
- Kalshi-branded LED signage around Dodger Stadium
- Naming rights to the Gold Glove Bar, located beneath the Left Field Pavilion
- On-site Kalshi activations in Centerfield Plaza throughout the season
- Dodgers-focused offers available through the Kalshi app
The Gold Glove Bar overlooks the bullpen area, giving Kalshi a high-profile presence at one of MLB’s most visited stadiums.
While the Dodgers arrangement has the most detailed public rollout so far, the Braves, Red Sox, Padres, and Giants will also feature Kalshi through stadium signage, online campaigns, radio mentions, and other fan experiences.

Baseball Trading Grows on Kalshi
The sponsorship push follows sharp growth in baseball-related activity on Kalshi.
The company said baseball trading volume has increased 36 times year over year, signaling that more users are turning to prediction markets for sports-related event contracts.
Kalshi also reported nearly $60 million in trading volume on its World Series and championship market alone. That growth gives the company a clear reason to invest in team partnerships and increase awareness of the Kalshi app among dedicated baseball audiences.
Prediction markets allow users to trade contracts tied to future outcomes. In sports, that can include questions about league champions, awards, team performance, and other event-based outcomes. Contracts are not the same as traditional sportsbook wagers, although regulators and critics continue to debate how sports prediction markets should be treated.
MLB Deal Is Not League-Wide
These are team-level sponsorships, not a full MLB partnership. Kalshi is reportedly still in discussions about a potential league-wide agreement, which would be different from individual club deals and could involve broader branding or data rights.
The announcement also arrives as other prediction market companies pursue baseball sponsorships. Novig has partnered with the New York Mets, while Polymarket has reached an agreement with the New York Yankees and has a separate MLB data arrangement.
Kalshi’s five-team move gives the company a substantial share of the MLB sponsorship landscape. However, it does not provide access to all 30 team brands or the type of league-wide rights that could come with an official MLB partnership.

Regulatory Questions Remain
Kalshi’s growing sports presence has drawn attention from state regulators. The company maintains that its sports contracts fall under federal commodities regulation, while some states have argued that the products resemble sports betting and should be restricted under state gambling laws.
That tension is relevant to several of Kalshi’s new MLB markets. Massachusetts, for example, has taken steps related to Kalshi sports contracts involving the Boston Red Sox. The regulatory uncertainty may explain why some early Kalshi branding around Dodgers, Braves, and Red Sox games appeared before the official public announcement.
For now, Kalshi’s MLB partnerships represent a major marketing expansion rather than a league-wide endorsement. The company is betting that growing interest in baseball prediction markets, paired with highly visible team sponsorships, will bring more fans to the Kalshi app.
