For the Commanders, I’m going with TE Zach Ertz to get another score.

He’s got four touchdowns this season and the receiving group for Washington is barren with WR Terry McLaurin out along with WR3 Luke McCaffrey.

This means Ertz may see an even bigger role in a game where he has a positive matchup. The Dolphins rank 25th in defensive DVOA against tight ends and bottom five in targets, catches, yards to the position with seven TDs allowed. Three of those scores have come in just the last two games.

Miami plays two-high safety at the fifth-highest rate and Ertz leads the Commanders in fantasy points per route run against that coverage.

If you want to take a long shot like WR Robbie Chosen, I’d be OK with it — but Ertz has the best matchup and odds to score.

Speaking of long shots, how about Dolphins TE Greg Dulcich?

He was a bit of a forgotten man in Denver after coming out of the gate strong with two touchdowns in his rookie season in 2022 — then he got hurt and couldn’t get back into the TE rotation with the Broncos.

Now, he’s gotten the opportunity to be the TE1 in this Dolphins offense — at +450, I’m intrigued because the Commanders haven’t been defending TEs well, with six TDs allowed to the position and four of those given up over the last four games.

Dulcich has nine targets over the last two games and he’s one of the last men standing since Miami’s TE room is battered with injuries.

Pick: Greg Dulcich Anytime Touchdown (+450)
