  • Monitoring fantasy football injuries for Tyreek Hill, Alvin Kamara, George Kittle or others?
  • Our experts guide you through how to handle lineup decisions around eight questionable players.
  • See their rankings for if each player is active, as well as potential backup plans if they're ruled out.

It was a busy week on the injury front. We've got some marquee fantasy football injuries to monitor leading up to kickoff, but don't worry — our rankers have you covered in the event any of the players listed below are ruled out.

With this article, we'll give a brief rundown of some of the players who are entering the week with a questionable tag, along with where our fantasy experts — Sean Koerner, Chris Raybon and Matthew Freedman — will have each player ranked if they're active. We'll also run through which players would benefit the most if the questionable players are ruled out, and who you could pick up on waivers if you're in a pinch.

Here's a quick list of the eight players we'll cover:

  • David Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals
  • Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City Chiefs
  • T.J. Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions
  • Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints
  • George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers
  • Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens
  • Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals
  • Kenny Stills, WR, Houston Texans

Keep a close eye on our experts' real-time fantasy rankings, too, which will be continuously updated until kickoff.

David Johnson, RB, Arizona Cardinals

Johnson returned to a limited practice on Friday, and the Cardinals are expecting him to play barring any setbacks.

Tyreek Hill, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

Hill has been practicing in a limited fashion over the last few weeks, and ESPN's Adam Schefter reported late Saturday night that Hill has a "serious chance" to play against the Texans.

The Chiefs will see how he responds in pre-game warmups before making a decision.

Fantasy Ranking If Hill Is Active:

  • Koerner: WR13
  • Raybon: WR13
  • Freedman: WR11

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking If Hill Is Inactive: Byron Pringle (Koerner WR47, Raybon WR48, Freedman WR50)

Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Byron Pringle

T.J. Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions

Hockenson logged a full practice on Friday and Saturday this week, but he's still listed as questionable with a concussion for Monday night's matchup against the Packers.

Lions reporter Tim Twentyman reported that Hockenson was "on pace to be cleared" from the concussion protocol. There could be some risk here since it's not a sure thing that Hockenson will be cleared in time, though it's encouraging he got in some full practices and had some extra time to get healthy with the Lions coming off the bye.

Hockenson makes for a tricky situation for fantasy players since he's in the Monday night game.

Fantasy Ranking If Hockenson Is Active:

  • KoernerTE15
  • Freedman: TE16
  • Raybon: TE18

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking With Hockenson Inactive: Jesse James (TE19, Freedman TE20, Raybon TE22)

Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Jesse James

George Kittle, TE, San Francisco 49ers

Kittle was added to the 49ers' injury report on Friday with a groin injury.

Schefter reported that Kittle is expected to play on Sunday; however, there is some concern that he may not be able to finish the game. Season-long owners are likely still starting him, but he's more risky for DFS now.

Fantasy Ranking If Kittle Is Active:

  • KoernerTE2
  • Freedman: TE5
  • Raybon: TE3

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking With Kittle Inactive: Ross Dwelley (Koerner TE19), Marquise Goodwin (Freedman WR40, Raybon WR50)

Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Deebo Samuel

Alvin Kamara, RB, New Orleans Saints

Kamara was another mid-week addition to the injury report with an ankle injury. He logged a limited practice on Thursday but then was downgraded to no practice on Friday.

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport and ESPN's Schefter both reported that Kamara is expected to play.

Fantasy Ranking If Kamara Is Active:

  • KoernerRB7
  • Freedman: RB5
  • Raybon: RB7

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking With Kamara Inactive: Latavius Murray (Koerner RB19, Freedman RB18, Raybon RB19)

Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Latavius Murray

Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

Brown's case appears to be a simple one. He didn't practice all week and isn't expected to play against the Bengals, per Schefter.

Fantasy Ranking If Brown Is Active:

  • KoernerWR28
  • Freedman: WR36
  • Raybon: WR31

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking With Brown Inactive: Willie Snead (Koerner WR46, Freedman WR42), Hayden Hurst (Raybon TE25)

Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Willie Snead

Christian Kirk, WR, Arizona Cardinals

Kirk managed to practice in a limited fashion all week, but he isn't expected to play against the Falcons today.

  • KoernerWR30
  • Freedman: WR37

Kenny Stills, WR, Houston Texans

Stills was ruled out as I got to this section for the article.

That was easy.

Fantasy Ranking If Stills Is Active:

  • KoernerRB40
  • Freedman: RB57
  • Raybon: RB48

Biggest Beneficiary + Ranking With Stills Inactive: Keke Coutee (Koerner WR50, Freedman WR45, Raybon WR58)

Potential Waiver Wire Pickup If You're In A Bind: Jeff Wilson
