Monday Night Football in Week 8 features a clash between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Washington Commanders at GEHA Field in Kansas City, Mo.

For my top Chiefs vs. Commanders NFL PrizePicks and Underdog plays, I’m highlighting Kareem Hunt, Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes.

Kareem Hunt

More Than 0.5 Receiving Yards

Kareem Hunt being off the injured list and active for this matchup is a surprise after the manner in which he suffered his knee injury, but it has created value.

Before his injury, Hunt was the Chiefs' lead back and involved on all downs. Aside from the game where he was injured, Hunt has recorded at least one reception and an average of eight receiving yards per game.

This is an angle that's under the radar to capitalize on tonight.

Travis Kelce

More Than 3.5 Receptions

While the return of Rashee Rice took away some volume from Travis Kelce, the Chiefs' tight end is still a strong pick to go beyond his receptions total.

Rice's return did not reflect the full picture of Kelce's receiving volume, as his three targets against the Raiders may be his floor.

Until that matchup, Kelce had not seen fewer than four targets and had a 76 percent catch rate this season. Rice being back should only open up things for Kelce moving forward, which makes his receptions a great value tonight.

Patrick Mahomes

Less Than 277.5 Passing Yards

Despite expecting success from the Chiefs' passing attack, most of that should come early and taper off as the game script changes in the second half.

Yes, Patrick Mahomes has an excellent matchup against a Commanders secondary that ranks 26th in passing yards allowed, but his expectations are a bit too high. The MVP favorite has averaged just 257 yards passing per game.

Look for Mahomes to look great early, but stay well under this yardage total by the time the clock hits zero in the fourth quarter.
