Thursday Night Football in Week 6 features an NFC East clash as the Eagles take on the Giants under the primetime spotlight.

For my top Eagles vs Giants NFL PrizePicks and Underdog plays, I’m highlighting Jalen Hurts, Cam Skattebo, and Theo Johnson.

The Eagles have a great matchup offensively to utilize their rushing attack. However, they have not exactly been the most efficient on the ground, regardless of who is carrying the ball.

This has led to an increased number of third downs, requiring Jalen Hurts to pass the ball more often. He's averaged 27.8 pass attempts this season and is likely to hit this over again, especially if the Eagles are ineffective on first and second down early on in this matchup.

The Giants have been a team that's been targeted through the air, averaging 38.4 pass attempts against them per game, which ranks fourth in the NFL.

Cam Skattebo

Less Than 12.5 Rushing Attempts

The Giants are sizable underdogs in this matchup, and a trailing game script is not suitable for rushing-dependent backs like Cam Skattebo.

Skattebo surpassed this total in each of his two games as the lead back. However, with Tyrone Tracy Jr. returning tonight and the game script favoring Tracy as the better receiving option, we may not see much of Skattebo at all.

Not only are the Giants expected to be trailing, but they can't afford to run the ball much, as the Eagles are likely to dominate the time of possession.

More urgency from the offense should equate to more dropbacks from Jaxson Dart and fewer opportunities for Skattebo and company in the backfield.

Theo Johnson

Less Than 3.5 Receptions

Theo Johnson had himself a nice breakout game last week as he hauled in six of seven targets and found paydirt twice. However, that came against the Saints.

This week, he'll be up against an Eagles defense that has been rough on opposing tight ends. The Eagles rank sixth in receptions allowed and third in receiving yards allowed to tight ends.

Lastly, Johnson is not the lone tight end, as Daniel Bellinger has dug into the tight end target share this season. Fade Johnson with confidence tonight.
