It's still very early, but Burton Albion (0-0-3, 0 points) find themselves at the bottom of the EFL Championship table after three matches. The Brewers will look to right the ship as they welcome Harry Redknapp's Birmingham City (1-1-1, 3 points) to Pirelli Stadium on Friday.

Burton are listed as slight underdogs at +175, with Birmingham priced at +158 and the draw listed at +205.

Burton has dealt with some injury issues to start the year and will continue to be without a full squad as Hope Akpan and Ben Turner will each miss the game through suspension and captain John Mousinho will be absent thanks to a hamstring injury.

The visitors will not be without their own injury problems. Birmingham captain Michael Morrison broke his nose and his status is up in the air. Cheikh Ndoye seems to be on track for the match but Che Adams and Cheick Keita are set to miss out on the Friday fixture.

So far Burton have had a tough time going forward and have managed just two shots on target, with one goal, through their first three contests.

The Brummies have enjoyed a decent start but have also yet to set the world on fire having scored only two goals, but only conceding two, through their first three matches.

Last year it was Burton who did the double against Birmingham, but a sluggish start should have the Blues looking to nick three points away from home.

A 1-0 away win seems the likely outcome here.
