Masters Outlook
Horschel's had a solid 2019 campaign, with 12 cuts made in 13 starts and one top 10.
Augusta, however, is not the type of course that suits his game. He is relatively short off the tee at 289 yards and a middle of the road putter, as well.
Horschel’s biggest strength is that he doesn’t have a glaring weakness, but you need more than that to be a factor at Augusta. He has two missed cuts, a 37th and a 17th in his four starts at Augusta, and while I think he is a safe bet to make the cut this year, I think his ceiling is a top 20 finish and realistically expect him to finish in the 35th to 40th range.
