The second round of the 2026 Genesis Scottish Open gets underway on Friday at The Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland.
There is a five-way tie for first at 5-under par after the opening round. With three days remaining, this tournament remains wide open.
Here are my picks and Genesis Scottish Open Round 2 best bets.
Genesis Scottish Open Round 2 Best Bets
Wyndham Clark Top-20 (-114 at DraftKings)
Wyndham Clark finished the opening round in strong form, making birdie on four of his final seven holes to move to T13. At -114, he is worth backing to maintain that momentum for the remainder of the week.
The Renaissance Club stretches nearly 7,200 yards and requires strong long-iron play, particularly in windy conditions. Last year, more than 36% of approach shots came from 200-plus yards, well above the PGA Tour average.
This setup makes Clark a strong option this week. One of the hottest golfers on the PGA Tour, the 32-year-old has won two of his past five events, including his victory at the U.S. Open.
Outside of those two wins, he has not finished worse than T11 during that stretch.
While his putting has been excellent, Clark is also a strong long-iron player. Entering this week, he ranks in the 85th percentile in strokes gained: approach and in the 81st percentile in strokes gained: approach from 200-plus yards.
It is therefore not surprising that he has recorded three top-16 finishes in four career appearances here.
Tom Kim Top-20 (-138 at DraftKings)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Tom Kim. After an even stronger opening round, Kim enters Friday tied for the lead at 5-under par.
At -138, he is worth backing to maintain that level of play as the week progresses.
Like Clark, Kim fits this course well.
Entering this week, he ranks in the 89th percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: approach and in the 79th percentile in strokes gained: approach from 200-plus yards.
Players will also need to rely on their short game if windy conditions intensify. Last year, each of the top five finishers ranked among the top 14 in the field in strokes gained: putting.
No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
Kim has proven capable on the greens, ranking in the 62nd percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting. He has also thrived at this venue, finishing inside the top 17 in each of his four career appearances.
