The second round of the 2026 BMW Championship gets underway on Friday at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri.
There is a five-way tie at 6-under par after the opening round. With three days remaining, this tournament remains wide open.
Here are my picks and BMW Championship Round 2 best bets.
BMW Championship Round 2 Best Bets
Tommy Fleetwood Top-20 (-120 at FanDuel)
Now is the time to buy low on Tommy Fleetwood, who enters Friday T26. At -128, he is worth backing to trend positively for the remainder of the week.
Accuracy is key this week. Bellerive Country Club penalizes errant shots due to its thick rough and abundance of deep bunkers and water hazards.
With accuracy off the tee and strong approach play necessary for success, Fleetwood is a great target in this market. He has been one of the most consistent golfers on the PGA Tour, finishing inside the top 15 in each of his past seven tournaments.
A similar performance could be in store this week, given that Fleetwood ranks in the 97th percentile in driving accuracy and the 93rd percentile in strokes gained: approach.
Collin Morikawa Top-20 (-115 at FanDuel)
Another golfer worth targeting in this market is Collin Morikawa. Producing a stronger opening round, Morikawa is tied for 20th at 2-under par.
At -114, it's worth taking a shot on Morikawa to maintain this momentum as the week progresses.
Like Fleetwood, Morikawa fits this course well.
This season, he ranks in the 96th percentile in driving accuracy and the 97th percentile in strokes gained: approach. Morikawa also enters this week in good form with three top-20 finishes over his past four tournaments.
Once on the greens, putting could help separate those at the top of the leaderboard. Putting performance accounts for a greater share of overall strokes gained at Bellerive than at the average PGA Tour venue, increasing the importance of a strong putter this week.
That bodes well for Morikawa, who enters this week ranked in the 72nd percentile in strokes gained: putting.
