The 2026 AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tees off with its first round on Thursday morning from California.
This week's event features a number of top players as the first Signature Event of the season, but the overwhelming favorite is again Scottie Scheffler, who checks in at +290 odds to win.
Last week's tournament, the WM Phoenix Open, was won by Chris Gotterup in a playoff over Hideki Matsuyama. Gotterup is +3000 to win the Pebble Beach Pro-Am, while Matsuyama is +3200.
Other favorites this week include Rory McIlroy, who is making his season debut, as well as 2025 Tour Champion Tommy Fleetwood.
From favorites to long-shots, props, and more, these are our staff's 2026 Pebble Beach Pro-Am best bets and favorite golf picks.
PGA Tour Expert Picks: Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Maverick McNealy First Round Leader (+2000)
By Tony Sartori
The AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am is unique in that the field is evenly distributed across two courses during each of the first two rounds. As a result, there are two separate first-round leader markets, one for each course.
This pick comes from Pebble Beach, which is the only course featuring ShotLink data and is therefore easier to handicap.
Pebble Beach emphasizes wedge play and putting, given its shorter layout. There were three measured rounds at this venue last season, as every golfer also played Pebble Beach during the final two rounds of the tournament.
Among those golfers, each of the top four finishers ranked 19th or better in the field in strokes gained: putting across those three rounds at Pebble Beach. No other strokes-gained category showed a similar trend.
Because short-game performance is critical here, Maverick McNealy profiles well to contend. McNealy is elite on the greens, ranking in the 92nd percentile on the PGA Tour in strokes gained: putting.
It is therefore not surprising that he has recorded two top-five finishes at this event.

Tommy Fleetwood Outright Winner (+2800)
Tommy Fleetwood has had so many heartbreaks on the PGA TOUR, including a couple in 2025.
However, he never got down on himself and continued to push himself. It was amazing seeing him break through with a win at the TOUR Championship.
Since then, he's picked up another win, a solo second, and a third-place finish on the DP World Tour. He has yet to tee it up on this side of the pond in 2026, but he comes into the week in solid form.
Pebble Beach typically rewards elite iron play and a tidy short game, both of which Fleetwood has in spades. He's third in my outright model this week, so +2800 feels very reasonable.

Sepp Straka (-120) over Keegan Bradley
It has been a quality start to 2026 on the matchup front. I'd love to see the outright success follow. Sure, a mixed bag for this article since we keep rotating wins and losses every week, but about 57% through 55 plays since the start of the season in the fall. A total that I will take and run with for a season if we can maintain the success.
I have five matchups on tap this week. You can get the rest of the plays if you follow me on Twitter @TeeOffSports.
Sepp Straka landed as this high-end golfer who can excel in similar 'Pitch and Putt' contests. We have yet to see the putter cooperate for us in 2026, but the Austrian had a respectable profile when running his data to feature 'Putts Per GIR versus pure make-or-miss returns.
