To declare Tiger Woods an underdog in this weekend's PGA Championship would be a sheer understatement.

Despite the dominance, hardware and name value, Woods is priced at +7000 at FanDuel to win at Southern Hills — his longest odds ever to win a major.

It's quite the fall off from his prime.

Between 1997 and 2013, Woods participated in 64 major events; he was favored in — are you ready for this? — 58 of them.

He nabbed 14 outrights over that span, finishing top five in nearly half (31 of 64).

Woods was also priced +1000 or longer just three times in a major across that window, and never longer than +2500.

Woods is paired with Rory McIlroy and Jordan Spieth this weekend.

In other betting markets for the 2022 PGA Championship, Woods is +1100 to finish Top 5, +450 to place Top 10 and +320 for Top 20 at FanDuel.

He's also -142 to make the cut, and +112 to miss.

Elsewhere, Jon Rahm and Scottie Scheffler are co-favorites to win this weekend, at +1200.

Justin Thomas (+1600), McIlroy (+1600), Spieth (+1700) and Collin Morikawa (+1900) are the four other golfers in the FD field priced shorter than 20-1.

McIlroy, who won the event in both 2012 and 2014, is the Round 1 leader to beat, with a price tag of +2000.
