2019 Belmont Stakes Odds: Tacitus the Favorite, War of Will Second Choice

- The 2019 Belmont Stakes takes place on Saturday, June 8 at 6:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
- Preakness winner War of Will (2-1) is not the morning line betting favorite for the third leg of the Triple Crown!
Tacitus (9-5) is the morning-line favorite to win the 2019 Belmont Stakes.
War of Will (2-1), the Preakness winner and and the horse that Maximum Security interfered with at the Kentucky Derby, is the second choice.
The two favorites were also drawn next to each other, War of Will in the No. 9 post position and Tacitus in the No. 10 gate for the race.
The morning-line odds suggest that this will likely be a two-horse race between Tacitus and War of Will as the third-favorite, No. 3 Master Fencer, is currently priced at 8-1 with No. 8 Intrepid Heart behind him at 10-1.
No. 2 Everfast, who finished second at the 2019 Preakness, is listed at 12-1 along with No. 5 Bourbon War and No. 7 Sir Winston. The biggest longshot on the board is No. 1 Joevia at 30-1.
