2023 Kentucky Derby Favorites: Forte, Tapit Trice & Angel of Empire Lead Most Likely Winners

The 2023 Kentucky Derby starts at 6:57 p.m. ET (NBC) on Saturday at Churchill Downs.
Interestingly, Kentucky Derby odds show one horse as the clear favorite to win tonight's Triple Crown event, with four more horses holding odds shorter than 10-1.

Forte (4-1 Odds)
Forte has remained the Kentucky Derby favorite all week, though it's noteworthy to point out that this price has actually slipped from 3-1 on Monday to 4-1 as of Saturday morning.
Tapit Trice (6-1)
While Forte's odds have lengthened, Tapit Trice has tightened among Kentucky Derby favorites, moving from 8-1 to 6-1 over the past five days.
Angel of Empire (6-1)
Just like Tapit Trice, Angel of Empire has shortened from 8-1 to 6-1 this week.
Two Phil's (8-1)
When it come to odds movement among the Kentucky Derby favorite specifically, this is easily the most interesting.
Two Phil's was way down the odds board at 25-1 five short days ago, but, as you can see, that number has rocketed to 8-1 heading into Saturday night's race.
Derma Sotogake (8-1)
Rounding out the five Kentucky Derby favorites is Derma Sotogake at 8-1 odds.
