Mavericks vs. Warriors

Tuesday, April 2
10 p.m. ET
TNT
Stephen Curry over 8.5 RA

By Joe Dellera

The Warriors are fighting for their Playoff lives and one player that will need to continue to lean on in this matchup against the Dallas Mavericks is Stephen Curry.

Curry has struggled to score in this matchup and has only cracked 30 points 3 times in 13 games over the last few years. However, he has made his impact as a primary facilitator and kickstarter to the offense.

His RA line is set at 8.5, and he has exceeded this mark in all 13 games against the Mavericks dating back to January of 2022. There are some Playoff games mixed in there but even in the 8 regular season games he has averaged 7.9 assists and 5.6 rebounds.

He has been tremendous in this spot. He had 9 RA (2 rebounds 7 assists) back in December but that was when the Warriors were starting Chris Paul alongside of Steph. Now, with CP3 on the bench, there is greater facilitating upside for Curry. He has averaged 9 RA and exceeded this line in 10/18 games since the ASB and I’ll trust that along with the 100% hit rate in this matchup over the past few seasons.

I like Curry to exceed 8.5 RA tonight.

Pick: Stephen Curry over 8.5 RA

Knicks vs. Heat

League Pass
Jimmy Butler over 19.5 points (-110)

By Bryan Fonseca

This feels like a good buy low spot on Jimmy Butler, who hasn't been interested in scoring in his last few efforts.

Butler has gone under this in four straight, all blowout contests, the first a big loss to the Pelicans, the next two were wins over the Cavs and Blazers by a combined 97 points, followed by a double-digit win in Washington that wasn't as close as the final tally suggested.

The last time Butler played in a close game, he had 30 — Miami's March 20 win over Cleveland, not the ass whooping four days later.

The spread here is -2.5 Miami as of this writing, I could see the line creeping closer to the Knicks by tip-off, but either way, we're expecting a tight game possibly only decided by one possession.

Because of that, I think Butler gives a sh*t and goes over 19.5 points, and I'd be fine with playing this over 20.5 and even 21.5.

After all, the Miami Open finished on Sunday, so he should be stupidly locked in now.

Pick: Jimmy Butler over 19.5 points (-110)
