  • Our experts offer their favorite NBA betting picks for Wednesday's eight-game slate.
  • You'll find a number of intriguing betting angles, including historical trends, matchup analysis and why the Mavs should cover at home.

There are eight games on tap Wednesday night starting at 7 p.m. ET. That means there are plenty of betting opportunities in the marketplace.

Let's dive into some of our experts' favorite wagers in the following games:

  • Brooklyn Nets at Houston Rockets: 8 p.m. ET
  • San Antonio Spurs at Dallas Mavericks: 8:30 p.m. ET
  • Utah Jazz at Los Angeles Clippers: 10:30 p.m. ET

Rob Perez: Clippers -1 vs. Jazz

This opened 1. It could get to 2 or 3 by tip. That’s as far as I’d take it.

The Clippers just took a brutal "L" at home against the Pelicans and have gotten off the mat in these spots to slap around the next challenger in the ring all season.

Between Marcin Gortat, Boban and Montrezl Harrell, they have bodies galore to throw at Rudy Gobert, and I 100% expect Pat Beverley and Avery Bradley to take Donovan Mitchell on a tour around the STAPLES Center SHU Wing.

With those two covered, who exactly is going to score for the Jazz other than Joe Ingles taking spot-up 3s? The Clips are not only the worst possible matchup for Utah, they can drown them in depth.

Clips by double digits; I’ve seen this movie before.

Matt Moore: Mavericks +1 vs. Spurs

The Mavericks are 8-1 against the spread as a home dog this season. I get this is slight with the line only +1, and the absence of J.J. Barea concerns me. But Dallas has just been too good at home.

I like the DeAndre Jordan-LaMarcus Aldridge matchup (if Jordan decides to try), and the Spurs' hot shooting remains due for a painful regression.

Grab Dallas as the home dog and trust in Rick Carlisle vs. Gregg Popovich. Carlisle is 7-1-1 ATS vs. Pop over the past three seasons.

Bryan Mears: Jazz-Clippers Over 224 & Nets-Rockets Over 224

That's right, it's a two-for-one special.

(My favorite bet is in our Pelicans-Warriors guide, so check that out. But here are two others I like tonight.)

One of our Pro Systems at Bet Labs highlights under/overs that have sharp money on the over, and the line has moved in that direction. It's an interesting system for sure, as it shows that the closing total still doesn't kill the value.

This system has been profitable this season, and it's gone 362-304-6 (54%) ATS since 2015, good for a 6% return on investment.

There are two matches for the overs in both Jazz-Clippers and Nets-Rockets. There are other good trends that support it as well. Notably, the Clippers are 15-9 to the over as favorites this season; the Rockets are 14-8 to the over at home.
